LINCOLN NATIONAL FOREST TRAILS BOOK

book cover lincoln natl forest 2017

When we wanted to wander the Lincoln National Forest in southern New Mexico, we went to the Sacramento Ranger Station in Cloudcroft and bought this paperback book.  It’s a little out of date.  Later, I found more data online by Lynn Melton.  I appreciate the graphics, and especially the gps track which I can upload in my gps, telephone, or tablet.  I certainly like a device that shows me when I’m off trail.  Drop the file into GPX Viewer and I can see the altitude profile.

Combining data from book and online, I’m pretty sure I’ve got an accurate description of the trails.
