Location: Bluff Springs, Lincoln National Forest, NM

Even before late June’s intense heat I was going to the forest to chill out.  This is what I saw on one of those days.

Cooling waters at Bluff Springs.  The flat area to the left often has campers.

The bluffs where the water falls over.  Not much of a stream, but it’s nice.

HappyDog modeling our campsite.  I don’t know why she looks so unhappy.  She got a hot dog for lunch.

I love how the new growth has such a bright green color.
