I brought Margo the screw jack thinking it might work well to lift the trailer to grease the wheel bearings.  She said it didn’t work and went out and bought this…

Trailer Aid plus, a tire changing ramp.  I didn’t know such a thing existed.  We wanted it more for a tire lifting tool.

No moving parts.  Set it on the ground in front of the double axle trailer and slowly drive until the tire is nestled on the curve.

Here we backed it onto the tool.  The right wheel is maybe two inches above the ground.

You can see how strong it is and it’s not going anywhere with those ridges and bolt heads.

In less than 20 minutes we had greased four wheel bearings.  Most of that time was spent trying to pull the grease gun off the zerk fitting.  Almost busted a gut.

The Trailer Aid will go in the cargo hold with the hydraulic jack and 4-way lug nut tool in case we need to change a tire.  So far an awesome buy.
